Welcome to CorazonAkinyi
I started my adult life doing what I thought was the “right” thing — I went to school, worked hard, and chose the nonprofit world believing that, eventually, my loans would be forgiven. I was on track for PSLF and trusted the system… until one day I learned that less than 2% of applicants were actually approved.
At that point, I had $100,000 in student loans from my bachelor’s and master’s degrees — and an additional $31,000 in interest piled on top. I felt trapped, ashamed, and honestly, hopeless. Debt had become a prison I couldn’t see my way out of.
That’s when my husband and I made a decision:
We were going to get out of debt — no matter how long it took.
We started budgeting, tracking every dollar, and holding ourselves accountable. Over the next 3.5 years, we paid off $151,000, saved an emergency fund, and even invested in real estate.
The very templates and systems I created to guide us through that journey — month by month, paycheck by paycheck, prayer by prayer — became the foundation for what is now the Prosperity Planner.

More About Me!
I didn’t always have it all together and although we are all a work of progress, I’ve managed to create a financial life that I am proud of.The very templates and systems I created to guide us through that journey — month by month, paycheck by paycheck, prayer by prayer — became the foundation for what is now the Prosperity Planner.
I designed this planner to help women like me:
Women who want to get organized, grow financially, and walk in the freedom God intended — not the bondage of debt and overwhelm.
This planner is more than pages. It’s the tools, structure, and faith I leaned on while rebuilding my life financially and spiritually. And now, it’s here to help you start your own prosperity journey.
